What is Miracle?
Miracle on Madison Avenue is a New York City holiday tradition that brings together a caring community of shoppers and merchants to help children who depend on the vital health care services of The Children’s Aid Society.
The 23rd Annual Miracle on Madison Avenue will be held on Sunday, December 6th, 2009. Miracle 2009 will be a day of shopping and entertainment for guests of all ages. We invite Madison Avenue retailers to participate in Miracle 2009 by donating 20% of their sales on December 6th.
All participants will be listed in an invitation mailed to 50,000 people, in the Miracle media sponsor’s ads and at www.childrensaidsociety.org. Retailers will also receive promotional materials for display and extra invitations.
You can sign up today. For additional information contact Susan Melnyk at 917.885.9807 or susanm@childrensaidsociety.org or Cathleen Miles at 212.901.1958 or cathleenm@childrensaidsociety.org

One hundred percent of the net profit of Miracle on Madison Avenue will provide vital health services to underserved children – children that are most often not connected to primary physicians and are therefore not getting preventive care, the most important determinant of good health. Your support will help Children’s Aid tackle some of the toughest challenges of childhood poverty and sustain programs for the time needed to produce results.
